Description

Management games were previously mostly populated by city sims, theme park sims and sports sims, but now the genre is becoming a little more diverse. For some reason, Hasbro Interactive saw fit to produce a sea-life simulator, giving the players the opportunity to build and manage their very own sea-life centre. After choosing a location to set up your centre, you will begin the game in an empty building with no tanks, no fish, no customers and no staff. To begin a successful game, you must first install a number of fish tanks to accommodate your aquatic friends. Tanks can be placed on walls, on desks or stand by themselves. Buying fish can seem a little confusing since there are many to choose from. Brightly coloured fish are often a good choice, as they tend to get the visitors' attention much quicker. You can choose to either catch your own fish, which proves much cheaper, or buy selected fish from retailers, which is more expensive. It is also advisable to populate your centre with a number of plants, themed objects, information desks, and guides. These features combined should please most customers, making your job a little easier, but maintenance of the building and its inhabitants is equally important, and you should hire staff to do the job. From there on in, you should be able to sit back, watch the money roll in and enjoy the profits. As long as you keep you centre clean, pleasing to the eye and up to date, Aquarium shouldn't prove to be a great challenge. Aquarium is original, if nothing else, and should be commended on this fact alone.
