The alternative London where they are lost, is a place where coins are won as a result of betting. You bet your coins on Minigames and on Pugs races (betting on a dog or playing with your dog).If you can get to win enough coins, you'll get the permission to fight the champion. The champion is obviously a Pirate, the one who has destroyed your ship.
