Description
Fear just got bigger. Well, F.E.A.R., the first person shooter from Vivendi just got bigger, anyway. Making an emotion bigger would no doubt prove difficult. F.E.A.R. Files combines the all-new Perseus Mandate - a stand alone expansion on Vivendi's first foray into the world of F.E.A.R. - with its predecessor, Extraction Point, picking up where the first game left off. The game features a new team of First Encounter Assault Recon (F.E.A.R.) agents and runs parallel to the original. In a story intertwined with the events of Armacham, players will take on new enemies as they duel with the supernatural. This latest expansion - a complete game which can be played without the original F.E.A.R. - features all new weapons including the chain-lightning gun, a new machine gun with a scope that can magnify light, and a grenade launcher. You'll also need to face off against a new enemy type called the Nightcrawler. These nasty little specimens are fast, accurate and have a murderous penchant for throwing a couple of grenades at once as they vault off walls. Where Perseus Mandate tells a story that runs parallel to the events of the first game, Extraction Point kicks off where the original game ended. The original F.E.A.R. team is back to battle the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a desolate city. There is a wealth of new locations, high-powered weapons and enemies that all combine to take the F.E.A.R. series to new heights. If you need another dose of F.E.A.R, Vivendi is giving you its best shot.
