Stealthy killing machine Sam Fisher emerges from the shadows once more as the Splinter Cell franchise gets a welcome reboot. Hellbent on discovering the truth behind his daughters death Fisher has some great new tools at his disposal as he goes about his business of hiding and creeping about before launching another deadly attack. The new Mark & Execute feature lets you decide which enemies you are going to take out in what order distract one while you blow the other away for example. Another intriguing addition is Last Known Position where a ghost image appears where you were last spotted by the enemy allowing you to sneak round on them undetected. Playability has also been ramped up by developer Ubisoft Montreal with less patience required as you wait for the right moment to strike. Build up your gadgets and weaponry along the way as Splinter Cell Conviction builds up to a thrilling showdown at the White House. Cooperative mode offers a whole prequel that must be played by two people. Deniable Ops mode can be used by one or two players either cooperatively or fighting each other.
