Description

The Thrill of the Hunt! Feel the chill in the air and the leaves under your feet as you prepare for the moment. Then suddenly . . . a flurry fills the air! Pheasants Forever is an arcade-style bird hunting game for up to two players. Objectives range from scoring the most points as quickly as possible to shot accuracy. Primary targets are the Ring-Necked Pheasant Wild Turkey California Quail Mallard and Ruffed Grouse. There are three distinct game modes in Pheasants Forever. These game modes define your experience while playing the game. Arcade Mode Arcade Mode offers a single round of bird hunting for one player. After selecting Arcade Mode select a skill level and location. Each location has its own objective and time limit. You can earn trophies based on actions performed during play but only if you successfully complete the round's objective within the time limit. Tournament Mode In Tournament Mode you progress through each location attempting to reach a particular score or other objective. If you meet the objective you will earn a hunting token you can use to unlock another location and once all locations are unlocked the state and national tournaments. As in Arcade Mode the player can earn special trophies by meeting specific requirements. Head-to-Head Mode This gameplay mode pits player against player in a bird blasting shoot-out. In Head-To-Head you compete to do better than your opponent by scoring higher or finishing faster depending on the location. As an added benefit you can stick it to your buddy by triggering special 'Gotcha' effects that hamper your opponent's abilities! Gameplay Pheasants Forever is an action packed arcade-style shooter. Generally speaking the object is to hit as many legal targets as possible in the time allotted and avoid hitting illegal targets. Illegal targets are presented in the loading screen and taking them will result in a point deduction.
