"Skate City Heroes invites the player to assume the guise of one of six playable characters - each with their own particular strengths - in a 'search and rescue' type mission crossed with a skateboard adventure. Developer Zeroscale has covered several bases here in the hope of hitting at least one target. Skate City Heroes is also Wii Balance Board compatible - a sensible move there, we reckon. Your arch nemesis, the aptly named Virus, has kidnapped your best skating buddy, and yes, it is down to you to extract him from the villain's evil clutches. You will have to master your skateboarding skills, zip between hover cars, grind on rails, and pull sick tricks and combos in a futuristic city environment. Hidden bonuses and items will help to impress the evil captor in order to free your friend. In some parts of the game, you will have to use a laser device to battle through the levels. You will also have to take part in Drag Races, in which you will have to chase a Drone which is tied to a flying vehicle! These and other challenges must be conquered in order to impress Virus enough to let your pal go."
