Now in its sixth year the Formula One franchise from SCEE is THE officially licensed game to accompany the 2001 season. The 2001 season of Formula One sees the return of Michelin as tyre supplier to a selection of top teams for the first time since the mid-'80s. On the drivers' side Juan Pablo Montoya joins the Williams team Jenson Button moves on to Benetton Nick Heidfeld drives for Sauber and a number of other drivers join the ranks of established drivers like triple World Champion Michael Schumacher double World Champion Mika Hakkinen and World Champion Jacques Villeneuve. Then of course you've got the commentary of old hands Murray Walker and Martin Brundle to keep you informed of each driver's position. But should you collide head-on with one of your competitors be warned - the damage is so real it hurts!
