Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowell were the best of friends. Former street punks together they joined the Millennion crime syndicate and quickly rose through the ranks. Before long Brandon was the Millennion's most feared 'sweeper' and Harry was a rising star working directly for the syndicate's boss Big Daddy. Not long after Brandon joined the syndicate the uncle of Maria Asagi his childhood sweetheart was killed. Big Daddy took in Maria and Brandon decided to give up any interest in her. Maria and the crime boss soon married. A daughter Mika was born not long afterward. Being number two was not enough for an ambitious man like Harry. When Seed a powerful drug fell into Harry's hands he had just the tool he needed to take power kill Big Daddy and take over. Brandon refused to join in Harry's plot so Harry put a bullet through his head. Harry then followed through on his plan. But Brandon has been reborn as Beyond the Grave a warrior of almost unimaginable power...and he's not best pleased with Harry...
