At 'Penguin Mountains' crush Rocky under a giant snowball. A motivational approach to practise allows you to collect trophies medals and awards in the Hall of Fame. Nine levels of difficulty ranging from Tortoise to Lightning fingers mean even those with almost no knowledge of key positions can win games and avoid the frustration of failure. The program can be tailored to meet individual needs with a wide range of options to change settings such as screen and font size background and text colour game speed etc. Speed and accuracy targets are set by testing yourself in a non-competitive game where you swim the Nessy character in a time trial to set a personal best. The program does not use nonsense words but over 10 000 curriculum words in a structured learning progression. The multisensory learning environment has been created in conjunction with specialist teachers at the Bristol Dyslexia Centre.
