Description

The real-life Baron started life as little more than a twin-engine design based on the venerable single engine Beech Bonanza. This first "Baron" was actually named the Travel Air and its fuselage essentially came right from the single engine version. Later Beech revamped the Travel Air and created the first Baron the "55" series - again sharing the fuselage of the single engine Bonanza line. Finally when Beech introduced the stretched-fuselage A36 the Baron followed along and the Baron 58 was born. With it's easy-to-operate nature and light but sure-footed handling the Baron 58 has become very much the 'pilot's favourite twin'. It offers plenty of fun flying with the flexibility of carry four adults and their luggage 1000 nautical miles. Costing new around $1 million this fabulous virtual version can be yours for slightly less... Much like its physical incarnation Dreamfleet's Baron 58 actually started life at the same time as their excellent Beech A36. Unlike the A36 for the Baron 58 they examined two late model Barons a 1999 and a 2000 model took the "best of both" and created this award-winning Baron 58. If you like the default FS aircraft even previous Dreamfleet aircraft then you are going to be in for quite a treat with the Baron 58. Dreamfleet held back very little when it came to detail and even increased detail over their previous aircraft models which have consistently been seen as of ground breaking quality.
