Winter Challenge 2006 PC

Winter Games gives the gamer the chance to take part in 7 winter sport disciplines. These include such classics as downhill skiing bobsleigh ski jumping and the biathlon but also disciplines which are less often translated into video games : cross-country skiing luge and Nordic combined thus guaranteeing a totally new gaming experience. Events take place across six different sites : Italy France Austria Germany Norway and Canada where the gamer will encounter the best known resorts on the winter sport circuit. 3 levels of difficulty are available : junior amateur and professional. The player will be able to progress throughout the game unlocking numerous elements as he advances. Good results will open up new elements such as new resorts better material or special bonuses. "Good results" are not just podium places - high race placings compared to current rankings are also taken into account. The highly detailed 3D environment and the accuracy with which circuits and slopes have been transposed into the game make for unequalled realism in a winter sports game. The realism is reinforced by the unique character of each location where the sights and sounds combine to give a real identity.
