Diplomacy PC

Set in early twentieth century Europe - a period of huge upheaval and historical significance - Diplomacy is the PC adaptation of the classic board game played loved and cherished by millions over the past four decades and unravels the power struggles of seven nations through gameplay with a major difference: the player is armed with the powers of diplomacy and negotiation. Featuring an enhanced graphical language for all negotiations Diplomacy pits smooth-talking diplomats against both human and AI opponents through Avatars which can reflect feelings based on player actions and tone. These feelings both good and bad are integral to improving - and ultimately manipulating - diplomatic relations and winning the game. Much more than a name Diplomacy allows players to negotiate almost anything available and forge and drop alliances as they see fit. Whether played as Austria England France Germany Italy Russia or Turkey the possibilities are endless. In addition to a gripping single player mode multiplayer diplomatic relations can be engaged and broken over a LAN or the Internet through an online community built and managed by Paradox. Paradox will also encourage nurture and support the playing community with online leader boards regular tournaments and matchmaking services.
