In 2002, owners of The Sims were given the opportunity to send their creations on a vacation in the nattily-named The Sims on Holiday Expansion Pack. Five years on, and it's time for another trip abroad for your very own creations as The Sims 2: Bon Voyage makes its appearance. It's all very well going about your everyday business as a Sim, but after all the dressing glamorously, Xmas celebrations and pet training, it's time for your Sims to have some fun in the sunshine and get some air miles under their collective belt. In The Sims 2: Bon Voyage, the whole world is their oyster, as travel broadens not only the mind, but also benefits your creations in others ways. Sims learn as they go, as they interact with the natives of the Far East or on mountaintops, taking part in local festivities and activities and learning new customs as they go. Going to new places is all well and good, but it's always nice to bring back a souvenir of your travels to more exotic climes, and Bon Voyage enables you to do this. What your newly travel-savvy Sims learn and collect along the way is entirely up to you.
