Fenimore Fillmore and Rhiannon are galloping through the Far-West when they find a wounded man. In order to help this mysterious man Fenimore leaves to get some water while Rhiannon keeps watch and tends to the man's wounds. The wounded man regains consciousness and tells her of a hidden treasure buried under a tomb. With his last breath he gives Rhiannon the name etched onto the tomb stone. As Fenimore returns both he and Rhiannon are set upon by three strangers. Fenimore is left for dead as the attackers take Rhiannon prisoner presumably as an unwilling guide to the secret treasure...
