Disney's Brother Bear is based on the Walt Disney Pictures animated feature film of the same name. In the game, players follow the adventures of Kenai and Koda, two Kodiak bears in the Pacific Northwest. The game is a faithful adaptation of the film in which a young Inuit man seeks vengeance on the brown bear that killed one of his brothers, only to be mystically transformed himself into a brown bear, forcing him to re-examine the world around him through the eyes of his sworn enemy.The game allows the player to switch between Kenai and Koda to use their different skills to explore different areas and solve various puzzles. A 2D side-scrolling platformer in the finest tradition of the genre, Brother Bear features solo and team modes of play, more than 15 levels to explore, and four unlockable bonus games on completion of certain tasks. Developer Vicarious Visions has an excellent track record of coming up with the goods for Game Boy Advance - witness Disney Extreme Skate Adventure and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 for example - and has delivered once again with Brother Bear.
