Description

Pokmon HeartGold Version and Pokmon SoulSilver Version for Nintendo DS return players to the scenic Johto region first introduced in the beloved original Pokmon Gold and Pokmon Silver games nearly a decade ago. The richly detailed adventure of Pokmon Gold and Pokmon Silver is now enhanced for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi systems with updated graphics and sound, as well as new touch-screen features and a host of surprises. Pokmon HeartGold Version and Pokmon SoulSilver Version for DS bring dozens of Pokmon characters back into the limelight for a new Pokmon generation - and longtime fans - to catch, train and battle. Pokmon HeartGold Version and Pokmon SoulSilver Version games lets players continue to enjoy the world of Pokmon away from their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi systems, taking their favorite Pokmon with them wherever they go with the new Pokwalker accessory. This new accessory will come included with each copy of these games. In Pokmon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions on Nintendo DS, players can wirelessly transfer any one of their Pokmon from one of the two games to the Pokwalker and walk them through virtual routes as the player walks around in real life. By walking, players earn Watts, which are used within the Pokwalker to encounter and catch wild Pokmon or search for hidden items, and can be transferred into Pokmon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions to unlock new routes. There are even special versions of certain Pokmon that can only be found within routes on the Pokwalker, giving players added incentive to keep their Pokmon with them wherever they go. The Pokmon in the Pokwalker will gain experience points as the player walks, and can even go up one level when they are transferred back into the game. Players also can wirelessly connect two Pokwalkers to trade items.
