Spectral Force - Genesis DS

Players can interact with more than 130 characters and compete for control of over 40 countries as Japanese developer Idea Factory brings its strategy RPG series to North American handhelds for the first time in Spectral Force Genesis. Once again taking place in the fantasy realm of Neverland, where humans and demons vie for control of territory, Spectral Force Genesis lets gamers command a single country and guide it to greatness by unifying the rest of the nations through diplomacy, battle, or a combination of both. The melding of strategy and role-playing means that, when interacting with in-game characters, players will have to deal with the consequences of raising taxes or sending troops into harm's way. Battles occur in real-time, with players using the stylus to strategically guide their Attack, Magic, and Defense units around the map. And for the first time in the series, betrayal plays a large part in decision making, as gamers must contemplate whether to break alliances in order to gain power, and whether to assimilate, execute, or liberate the former leaders of each territory.
